Shop till you drop
Yesterday the wind dropped right off and the sea was glassy once more. We got up early for the dawny. Mystery Island was working on the small swell; chest high and glassy. Malc had some great waves, and avoided the rocks!!
It was another day of wall-to-wall sunshine. After breakfast some of the crew surfed Anchors.
After lunch al-fresco we headed for the weekly market at Banana village. It was a relaxed market with mounds of fresh produce; mouth-watering herbs, fruit and vegetables. It’s a really easy place to shop. Boys all around the market sell you carrier bags for 1Dhiram each. Each stall owner hands you a washing up bowl and you chose your produce, then they weigh it on those old-fashioned iron scales with kilo weights. We bought what looked like a weeks worth of veggies. Malc accompanied us and helped us by carrying our bags and making sure that the things in Dan’s backpack weren’t pilfered!
Later we stopped in Agadir for the usual order of slabs of beer from the Uniprix – we looked like the traditional Brits abroad carrying loads of beer from the supermarket and were quite relieved we had black carrier bags to hide our alcohol shame. We snuck home to drink them

It is good to see a photograph at last, how are you getting on with pictures? How’s Mo?
Yes we (Lauren) have managed to get Irfanview to work. We will upload a few to our globalsurfadventures facebook page and one or two per article per day
hope you are both well
