Basking Sharks visit Cornwall
This time of year we can see all sorts of wildlife whilst we surf, and recently Basking Sharks have been spotted off the North Cornish coast. This amazing footage on YoutTube shows them off our North coast. Gorgeous!
Basking sharks are the largest fish in British waters and can reach lengths of around 10 metres and weigh up to 7 tonnes! Big Boys!!! But do not fear their approaching fin,….they aren’t Jaws at all! They feed on plankton. If you spot one tell the Basking Shark Trust on +44 (0) 1752 672020.

It was great yesterday to have some clean waves at long last, and some fun surfing on the Newquay beaches. Today has gone flat, but tomorrow is still looking like it’s picking up, and looking good for the weekend till end of Saturday! Roll on those waves!! Also we’d like to say a Big Hello

Cycling is the best and cheapest way to get aruond the area in South West France on our France Surf Holiday. You can hire a bike with helmet and bike lock near our campsite for a day or the week. The roads are very safe to bike on and there are some lovely cycle paths

Well it was far from epic this afternoon. The wind got up even further after lunch, and we’d hoped that Watergate might be ok, but the winds were hellish and it was 20mph+ gusts and choppy waves!! Plus it was really cold! Summer wetsuit was not warm enough! AAgh! Roll on our France Surf Holiday
