Snow in Cornwall and no surf!!
Wow!! Cornwall is in the grip of winter! We don’t usually get snow or hard frosts in Newquay due our position near the sea. But this winter is shaping up to be frozen like last winter! We had loads of snow yesterday morning, and last night it was -10 on Dartmoor!! This is probably going to the coldest November in Cornwall ever!!
This morning the snow from yesterday is still here – now freally frozen, and the lanes are not yet suitable for driving as the snow has frozen into a thick layer of ice. We might take a trip out at lunchtime,… if it’s safe and we can wrap up warm enough!
More bad news is there is nothing showing on the surf forecast for the forseeable future either! We will have to stay fit by walking through the snow! That’s a new one!
We are dreaming of our surfing holidays to France and South Africa where we can enjoy good clean waves and sunshine…..
