SURF HOLIDAYS TO FRANCE & SOUTH AFRICA
Newquay
Offshores at last! AND Big love to Matt and Zoe!
Sep 1st
It was great yesterday to have some clean waves at long last, and some fun surfing on the Newquay beaches. Today has gone flat, but tomorrow is still looking like it’s picking up, and looking good for the weekend till end of Saturday! Roll on those waves!!
Also we’d like to say a Big Hello to Matt and Zoe who are getting married on Saturday at Fistral Blu! We wish them well and look forward to seeing them on their big day, and surfing with them this weekend too!
Offshores at last!!!
Aug 30th
Hope all you Newquay surfers are getting as excited as we are,…the best swell of the summer is heading our way! Get your sticks waxed and your arms well toned for some serious paddling and some amazing days! End of the week is looking particularly good with head-high surf predicted!!! The wave period is going to be looong and the winds are going to be offshore = great surfing days to come! We have waited long enough (seems like forever!) for this!!

Cycling is the best and cheapest way to get aruond the area in South West France on our France Surf Holiday. You can hire a bike with helmet and bike lock near our campsite for a day or the week.
The roads are very safe to bike on and there are some lovely cycle paths around the woods behind the campsite. You can easily get to Hossegor by bike and of course, home again, but be careful if cycling after drinking! Of course we don’t recommend you cycle if you are under the influence!
Cycling is a great way to keep fit and helps your surfing; cycling strengthens your legs and excercises your lungs as well as your core. So get on your bike, and get fit out of the water as well as in it!
Cross-shore hell!

Well it was far from epic this afternoon. The wind got up even further after lunch, and we’d hoped that Watergate might be ok, but the winds were hellish and it was 20mph+ gusts and choppy waves!! Plus it was really cold! Summer wetsuit was not warm enough! AAgh! Roll on our France Surf Holiday where we hope to enjoy some decent swell and warmer seas!
