Fun surfing in the sun

0

Nice and warm today here in Seignosse, South West France, with temperatures in the mid 20s and great surf; 2ft clean waves! Tomorrow is forecast to be even hotter and a new slightly bigger swell arriving at lunchtime.

We always check the weather reports to have a look at wind direction, and what the high and low pressure systems are doing out in the Atlantic. These reports give us a good picture of what our surfing should be like. We use Windguru mostly. Have a look and see what it’s looking like for our France Surf Holiday!

It was a lovely sunny day here on our France Surf Holiday, and the waves were fun too. Fingers crossed for more of the same tomorrow.

It has been a beautiful day yesterday here at the France surf camp. We picked up 2 new holidaymakers yesterday and so the camp is filling up with keen surfers ready to enjoy their France surf holiday.

Check out the picture of this beautiful sunrise over the tall pine trees around the surf camp yesterday morning.

France surf holiday looking good

It was a great journey down here to Seignosse. The ferry was good with a film to pass the time – Clash of the Titans! Fab!! We stopped overnight at Rennes, and the next day we got to Seignosse about 4ish. We put up the tents then checked out the surf. We have our same tent pitches as last year in a nice spot on higher ground, and the beaches look just as amazing as always.

Temperatures today should peak at around 27C and the winds are looking light, with a little high cloud cover. Should be a scorcher!!

Waves are about 4-5 foot right now, but a newer swell is predicted to arrive around lunchtime of around 10 seconds with 2-3 ft waves. Should be fun!!
