Our France surf trip

This year we are driving down to sunny South West France to surf the plentiful beach breaks along the coast at Seignosse.

Our surf camp is well equipped and we provide everything you need to feel right at home. As well as new tents and air beds our surf camp has a large marquee set up for dining and socialising, gas hobs, kitchen and dining area. The campsite has BBQ cooking facilities, a pool with decking, WiFi, security, launderette, a shop and much more.

Our surf trips are relaxing and fun. You will meet new friends who share a passion for surfing, and learn new surfing skills from our friendly professional, full qualified surf coaches and tour guides.

At our surf camp the emphasis is surfing! We get you in the water as much as possible, so you can learn and improve your surfing techniques. And importantly, unlike other camps, we don’t charge you for surf coaching or limit your included coaching hours. So you can make the most of our 35 years international surfing experience!

See our website www.globalsurfadventures.co.uk for all the details.

snow-day

The next day we had a mega journey fraught with all types of weather. We set off in sunshine up through the countryside North of Madrid. As we travelled further North the snow began to fall. We almost got stuck in a snow drift and the temperatures dropped way below Morocco temperatures! We left the main road and headed for the coast to avoid the snow. As we neared the coast we had to drive through gale force winds. As we crossed the border into France the winds remained, but by the time we got to Bordeaux the weather was back to sunny and calm. We found a great motel called Travel Inn right by the airport which we thoroughly recommend. Its just round the corner from the largest retail park ever with the usual Carrefour. We spent a restful night there.
