Beach breaks in Newquay Vs South West France
Watergate and Fistral (here in Newquay) were both going off yesterday. Everyone seemed to know it and was out enjoying the surf. There is lots of sand on the beaches, making the banks work nicely. Fingers crossed we don’t get a massive March swell before the summer so conditions stay the same.

This morning, (a particularly dark and drizzly morning in Cornwall) we set off on our next surf adventure to France. Driving through the English lanes and motorways to Portsmouth in the cool air, it was hard to imagine that in less than 24 hours we’ll be surfing in the warm seas of South West France. [...]
