Yesterday we went to Imsouane. It’s about an hour’s drive up the coast North of Taghazoute. It is winding roads all the way with lorries chugging up the hills and taxis overtaking on blind bends. Not an easy drive by any means, but totally worth it. Imsouane is a natural surfers carousel. The waves roll into a bay which is also a natural harbour. The wave is a long  point break over a sand bottom which wraps into the bay then peels right down it. Its best at low tide, when after your long ride you can walk back round the bay to the take off end. It’s a great wave for surfers of all abilities, especially for longboarding. Everyone had a couple of hours in the water in glassy conditions.
