On the last leg we had a long wait in Le Havre till 3pm to get on the ferry, but had a good time. We had morning croissants and coffee at a lovely coffee shop with outdoor heaters! Later we browsed around the indoor market with the most beautiful stalls filled with expertly put together displays of fruit, vegetables, cheese, bread and meats. We bought the best baguette we’ve ever tasted, and lots of salad and cheese for our lunch and dinner on the road.

At about 4pm we loaded onto the LD Lines ferry and with only 80 passengers for a 2000 capacity, it was quiet and peaceful. The crossing went quickly and we were really pleased to be back on English soil at around 9pm. We headed straight to my parents in West Devon and had a fantastic restful stopover before driving to the farm the next day. The view from the caravan was beautiful as always.

The end of an interesting adventure to Morocco, and back, but as always, a great part of the journey is coming home.
