Tom and Steve have landed

Today was another hot and sunny day. The waves are still quite chunky so we stayed on the terrace sunbathing. Dan went to collect young Tom and his Dad from the airport. Young Tom is the current under 18 Welsh champion and likes big waves. His dad likes it more mellow, as we do.
The waves are forecast to be a bit smaller tomorrow so we are hoping we can all get in.
Big swell still building

The swell has been building all day here, Anchors is super glassy now with faces in the 10 – 15 ft range with the odd biger set. The forecast is for this swell to peak on Wednesday at around six metres. Tom Butler is snagging a few good ones, with about ten other guys out in the line up.
Big surf coming

Today the surf was big so we headed up the coast to a more sheltered beach break. This afternoon we relaxed in the sunshine on the terrace and watched the sufers on Anchor Point. The new swell which will be even bigger than the last few days is due to begin tomorrow afternoon. And looks like being the biggest of the season so far, at up to 5 metres, and promises to be a cleaner, more lined-up swell than this one, so experienced surfers should have a great time.
