Beth, Jason and Lyn got on the surf this morning on Mysteries Beach. They all got some really fun waves and were in for hours!

This afternoon they did it all over again on Panoramas beach, and arrived back at the apartment ready for a drink.

Today the surf was quite messy due to the wind, so we stayed out of the water. We dropped the boys off at the airport and then headed to the Marjane. It is the equivalent of a huge Morrisons or Sainsburys, with loads of Western products you cannot get in the local stores.  We got some camembert and some other fun things.

The big swell has moved a lot of sand off Mysteries beach and when it dies down we will be able to see how the sand banks are working. Hopefully there will be some nice ones.

Today we got up early for a fun dawny on Mysteries beach. Even Steve-O, the King of late night partying, made it out for a few good waves.

We also saw the arrival of the new swell. We were out in the water when we noticed that the wave period was getting longer and the waves were getting too big for us to take on! We just made it back in on the whitewater to safety, and a lovely breakfast of porridge, eggs, fresh oranges, and fresh french bread. We also had some Amlou, which is a nut paste made locally that is very delicious with bread. Yummy!

Lisa had a good surf on Mysteries beach break , and stood up many times on her board! She’s riding an 8’4″ minimal, which she has fallen in love with!

This morning it was very low tide due to the full moon, and very cloudy, but its cleared up nicely and looks lovely again.

The waves are lovely longboard waves, and we are off round the corner to Mysteries beach where the waves are small but rideable.  

The camel man has been around again, offering smelly uncomforatble rides on unpredictable camels – he is doing good business!

It started off cooler than usual today, but we didn’t let that worry us. We had a hearty brekkie Moroccan style, and then went round the corner for a surf off Mysteries beach. We had some great waves! Catherine got out the back several times, Jay had a few rides standing up and Meg made a sterling effort and definitely got to her feet! Later it got a bit choppy, but we were off to take the crew to the coach station to go to Marrakesh. Tonight we will relax with a nice glass of red and some home-made tomato soup. Surf is predicted good for tomorrow morning, again!

Yesterday morning as per usual we went to check the surf on Mysteries Beach. There were a few fishermen out, but no surfers yet. Dan and Paul got some good waves.

The afternoon picked up with a few close-outs but some good waves were had by some.
