Everyone out the back

Today we all had a good surf on Panoramas. Then this afternoon we had everyone out back at Mysteries beach break. The surf was 6-8ft on the faces so they were all brave to get out, and get back! Tonight we are off to the village for dinner. Sadly we have some people leaving tomorrow from their Morocco surf holiday. They will be missed. Hopefully they will return for more surfing fun again soon.

6ft and clean on Anchors

The weather has been nice here today. We surfed at Panoramas as it was a bit too big on Anchors. There was a cool Northerly wind but its nice and hot at the apartments.

It was 6ft and clean on Anchors, with moderate off-shores. There were a few people getting washed up onto the rocks trying to get in and out. The swell is forecast to drop tommorrow.
5 new people turning up tonight. Looking forward to meeting them.

Camel Rides

This piccy is for Lyn and Beth, suffering from the cold in the UK. Here’s you two enjoying your camel ride on Panoramas beach. To make you all feel better it has rained here and there was a cool wind blowing today.

Camel rides are a common feature of Morocco. You can take them on Panoramas beach, and at Anchor Point where the camel rides right past your front terrace and you could step off the edge and straight on to the camel!

Beth, Jason and Lyn got on the surf this morning on Mysteries Beach. They all got some really fun waves and were in for hours!

This afternoon they did it all over again on Panoramas beach, and arrived back at the apartment ready for a drink.

Yesterday it was hot and sunny and we all went to Panoramas beach to catch some sun. The waves were too big for most to get out the back, but we had fun surfing in the whitewater, and everyone got loads of waves!

The sad demise of Mr Cruz

We had a two minute silence today for the late, great, Mr Santa Cruz. He met his sad end on Panoramas Beach break. It was literally a beach break.

I will miss Mr Cruz, his glidey speed, and cool minimalist looks. He was a good faithful board. I won’t find one like him in a while. I’ll try not to choose a new board on the rebound, and leave a dignified gap before taking up a new one.

Wherever you are tonight, light a candle for Mr Cruz.

Christmas waves at Panoramas beach

We had a nearly traditional Christmas – there were crackers and party hats, as well as mince pies and chocolates. The early surf was all blown out but we made up for it with a great session on Panoramas, down the road.

Even the pirates got into the party spirit!
