Offshore surf all day in France!

The temperature was 30C+ today in Seignosse, South West France, and the surf was offshore all day! It was 5-6ft in the morning and a fun 3ft in the afternoon so all day we surfed our socks off! The water temperature is a lovely 22C. More big surf on the way and the temperature staying nice and hot! More surfing and sunbathing tomorrow!

Great waves in France

We’ve been straight into the surf here in Seignosse, South West France. Yesterday we had 4-6ft clean waves rolling into les Bourdaines and we had a ball! Today we are off to the world-famous Cotes des Basques beach in Biarritz for some fun surfing.

Our France Surf Holiday starts on 3rd September!!

We are very excited because our France Surf Holiday starts in less than a week! We travel to the Landes area of the Aquitane department of South West France. We stay in a campsite right by the beach at Seignosse, with lots of great facilites like an outdoor pool and WiFi. We surf world-class beach breaks nearby, and warm ourselves in the late summer sunshine on the mile and miles of sandy beaches…….. sounds bliss? It is!

If you’d like to join us at our surf camp we only have limited spaces left on our last week – 17/18 September to 24/25 September. This one week is from as little as £369 pp/pw…with all this included:

  • campsite accommodation close to the waves (spacious tents and comfortable airbeds provided)
  • nutritious breakfasts/lunches at our surf camp
  • 3 healthy home-cooked dinners and/or barbeques (vegetarians/vegans or special dietary requirements catered for)

Surfing rejected as an Olympic sport

Disappointingly once again surfing has missed out on being included in the list of sports being considered for inclusion in the 2020 Olympic Games. The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has released the short-list of possible new Olympic sports which are: wakeboard, baseball, karate, roller sports, softball, sports climbing, squash and wushu (a Chinese martial art). Surfing has the opportunity to be considered again in 2024.

But never mind!! You can have fun on our guided surfing holidays in France and South Africa……..

On our France surf holiday we travel to Seignosse, SW France. Our France surf camp is nestled under tall pines, close to the beach, and we surf the beast beach breaks along this coast. There are miles of white sandy beaches to sunbathe and surf. It really is a surfers paradise!
