Bank Holiday Surf Comp at Watergate Bay

The English Surfing Federation will hold the 2012 English Surfing Championships at Watergate Bay over the May Bank Holiday- 5th – 7th May. The proposed categories are; Open – Ladies – Longboard – Ladies Longboard – Senior – Masters – Vets. The Junior Championship will held over a series of 3 contests, this will also serve as a qualifying series for the Euro Juniors to be held in France in the Autumn of 2012.

JBay here we come!

With only a week and a half to go we are really stoked about our forthcoming surfing holiday to Jeffrey’s Bay South Africa. Looking at the charts there has been lots of swell and the temperature the other day was 30C! Water temps are around 18C there, so much better than here where it’s only about 11C!
We have a great group of surfers with us on this trip to JBay, and we are really excited about them improving their surfing on the excellent waves of JBay. We might even see some dolphins playing in the waves with us!
